About the Farm:
Sol Naciente was created in 2008 with the goal of uniting competing producers from the Sierra Nevada region. These producers come from two townships: Siberia and San Pedro which are located in the municipality of Cienaga. The majority of these producers are recognized victims of armed conflict and they are in a program for land restitution. Now that they have regained their land, they decided to put it to good use and produce high-quality organic coffee.
